Cherish Amerie Gibson is the daughter of Chastity Gibson and James Gros, Jr. and the granddaughter of Charles & Leona Gibson along with Mr. & Mrs. James Gros, Sr.  Cherish is a second grader at Vacherie Elementary School where she maintains a 3.7 grade point average in Mrs. Grainer's class. 

           Cherish is a Taekwondo student at Molley's, located in Gonzales, Louisiana, where she has been active since March 2009.  She has already earned a junior green belt which at Molley's is a very good accomplishment for such a young athlete.

            Besides practicing her new moves on relatives and friends, Cherish also participate in soccer and swimming where she also excels tremendously.

            When asked what she desired to be in the future, Cherish said, "I want to be a Teacher, Doctor, Pianist, and a Martial Artist".
